Yoga is mindful movement. We move through our days creating patterns in the body and mind that do not always serve us. Yoga is time and space to pay attention to the breath & body, let go of unhelpful patterns, and create more healthy patterns. Yoga classes involve working with your own body & breath to find ease, strength, and balance that you can incorporate into your daily life.

What Is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is defined by Jon Kabat-Zinn as "paying attention on purpose in the present moment non judgmentally."  We take the time and space to feel our breath or body, and notice what is really going on right here right now.  It is a simple practice, connecting us with what is going on in the present moment so that we can work with it and respond more appropriately in our bodies, minds, & lives.
